ABOUT
The WORD Churches exist to lead people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus. No matter what you’ve been through or what questions you might have or where you are on your spiritual journey, our church is a place where you’ll find the grace, mercy, and forgiveness Jesus gives to everyone.
We invite you to worship with us this Sunday!
Our Core Values
-

Empower Worship by being more GIVING
We are never more like Jesus than when we give because giving is central to His nature. At The WORD, we give generously of our time, resources, and hearts through tithes and offerings, serving, worship, and prayer. Giving is not just an action, it’s an act of worship that reflects the character of Christ.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 (NKJV)
-

Engage Outreach by GOING and GROWING
We are never more like Jesus than when we step out in faith. God is a creative sender, He sent His Son, and He continues to send His people through the power of the Holy Spirit. At The WORD, we believe outreach is more than a mission; it’s a movement. Whether across the street or across the world, we are called to grow as disciples and go as ambassadors, carrying hope to our community and beyond.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV)
-

Embrace Relationships by being more LOVING
We are never more like Jesus than when we love others. At The WORD, we believe that authentic community is essential to spiritual growth. That’s why we invest in meaningful relationships through Life Groups, whether interest-based, activity-driven, or centered on God’s Word. In loving one another, we grow in Christ and reflect the heart of the Church.
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."
John 13:34-35 (NKJV)
-

Encourage Discipleship by being more FORGIVING & Less Judgmental
We are never more like Jesus than when we receive God’s forgiveness and extend it to others. Discipleship is more than learning—it’s living out God’s Word with grace and humility. Through teaching, serving, and community, we equip believers to grow in Christ and walk out their faith with compassion and conviction.
“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Matthew 6:14-15 (NKJV)
What to Expect
-
The WORD Churches Sunday services begin with an energetic and engaging worship experience. Feel free to sit, kneel, stand, clap, dance, lift your hands, or visit the prayer wall during worship. Worship is about connecting with God and not external appearances.
Our Pastors teach Bible-based messages with practical application to encourage you to live out your faith during the week.
Personal prayer is always available during the worship segment and alter call. At the appropriate time, feel welcome to come forward and receive prayer for any needs.
-
Attire at The WORD Churches ranges from suits to jeans, t-shirts, and even shorts. Our goal is not to impress others or hold a fashion show, it is to connect with God, so wear what makes you feel most comfortable!
-
If you have children under the age of 3, The WORD Churches has a team of loving, trained volunteers in our secure nursery area. For children 3 years olds through 5th grade, we have a children’s church. A fun, upbeat service that includes music, games, and a bible lesson taught at their level. We encourage middle and high school students to join their parents in the adult service.

In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.
That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.
Holiness to be God's standard of living for His people.
In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.
In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
In the Lord's Supper and washing of the saints' feet.
In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.
In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
