What happens in a Life Group?
No two Life Groups have to look exactly alike. Some gather around a Bible study. Others meet for an activity, a meal, or a shared interest. Some focus on a particular season of life, while others bring together people from different backgrounds and generations.
But at the heart of every Life Group is the same opportunity: to build relationships that help us grow more like Jesus.
You might study Scripture, pray together, share what's happening in your life, serve others, or simply get to know people beyond Sunday morning.

At The WORD, Life Group leadership is built on three essential commitments: Follow-Up, Scripture, and Prayer.
FOLLOW-UP: Be intentional about connecting with people, checking in, and helping everyone feel seen, welcomed, and valued—even beyond the group gathering.
SCRIPTURE: Keep God’s Word at the center, creating opportunities for people to learn, grow in faith, and become more like Jesus.
PRAYER: Make prayer a regular part of your group by praying together, lifting up one another’s needs, and trusting God to work in every person’s life.
